Since 1998 we have been creating and hosting Java Web Applications. After an exhaustive search of Java hosts we used Kattare in the US and Netregistry in Australia - with excellent results.
Netregistry are moving away from Java support and Kattare are based in the US.
Hence the challenge is to build a platform for web developers to save time and effort in setting up reliable Java hosting in Australia. The same hosting we have been using for years and know it continues to perform.
The need for Australian based hosting
Sites are faster when based on Australian servers for Australian sites and queries. We now use local servers managed by a team with years of hosting experience. We teamed up to create the best Java Hosting solutions available in Australia. Being Java programmers we wanted a solution that -:

Who is us
Actually us is just me Phil Hoile however I actively collaborate with IT experts mainly coming from Griffith University where I have lectured in IT subjects since 2000. Many of my collaborators are fellow lecturers, students and ex students.
